Music: InterTwind - Save Me
Psalm 119:94-89 .ל (Lamed)
94 Save me, because I belong to you.
93 Because you give me new life, I won't ever forget your teachings.
92 I would have died from my sufferings if I had not loved your teachings.
91 All [the whole universe] are Your servants; therefore they continue this day according to Your ordinances.
90 You have set earth in order, and it stands. To generation after generation your faithfulness lasts.
89 LORD, thy Word dwells in Heaven without end. (Lord, thi word dwellith in heuene; with outen ende.)

Built on the Rock

Matt 4:24-5:2
News about (Jesus) spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them. Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him. Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them saying " . . .

Matt 7:24-29
" THEREFORE:
Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
BUT:
Everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."
When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.
(NIV)
Maybe I'm over-simplifying the Gospel of Christ here, but to me... for me, any ministry that represents Jesus Christ must (at it's minimum) represent these three chapters of Matthew. If I want to spread the Gospel of Christ, I need to read the Mountain Message as a to do list and make the verbs action verbs. Any ministry that takes the core message contained here and starts explaining it with old testament history and radical interpretations of epistles is risking being in group 'I-never-knew-you' at the last day.
